Does Pilates scare you? It scares me too. I've tought and practiced it for years, and now teach gentle classes that encourage students to hone in on their core support while finding ease and fluidity through alignment. The goal being that you can go about your day with a greater sense of awareness and ease in your body. This is great and it works well for people dealing with phyiscal limitations, but as a dancer I crave creativity and I want to move through the space with my whole body! Enter Pilates for Creatives.
This innovative class series will invite you to see your body from a new perspective, learn something new about your anatomy, and inspire you to move. Using imagery, and improvisational techniques to arrive into our body and awareness, this class will combine traditional Pilates Mat exercises with tools that get us off the mat and moving through the room.
No Mat Required!
$80 for the Series, sliding scale drop-in $12 - 15
